General informationI have over 20 years experience in advertising and marketing starting as a media assistant with a small, full service agency. There were only about fifteen of us there and I was very fortunate to be trained by professionals who were keen to help me learn not only about media, but production and creative as well. That is where I found my passion for advertising and, apart from a short spell when my two daughters were very young, I have worked in the advertising industry ever since.

I have gained experience in both brand and DR advertising over the years, working with small creative agencies to top ten media independents. I worked at Chris Ingrim Associates for a number of years and spent over six years at MGOMD, where I worked with clients such as Virgin, More Th>n Insurance, FCUK, Britannia Building Society, and Mitsubishi Motors to name but a few.

I joined mc&c in 2008 as a manager in the press team and two years later, I’m still enjoying the challenges that advertising presents whilst working with many different clients.  No two days are ever the same and I have met so many lovely people in the industry throughout my career. I think my strength lies in being a true believer that advertising is a communications industry and making sure that media is approached in a creative way, to help meet the challenges that we face.

I am married and have two lovely daughters, who are now grown up and both recently graduated. I have always been interested in building and design and over the last few years, I have project managed the building of our family villa in Rhodes.  Almost finished now and I do feel that it is quite an achievement.

Specifically, working with the team who launched Virgin Money, new to the marketplace.  The client was so pleased with the launch that the agency earned a bonus and the media team were given the funds to organise a day out for them all in Paris.

On a more general basis, every new client offers a new challenge and it is always a sense of achievement to help along the way to get positive campaign results.
