general InformationI am Media Director at the agency with responsibility for trading, clients, training and supporting my board colleagues in growing this innovative business.

Having worked in advertising and marketing since 1982, I have gained extensive experience in both brand and direct advertising from all perspectives: full service, media independent and client side with roles at O&M Partners, TMD/Carat and BCA/Bertelsmann. I also ran a media business of my own at MMS during the mid nineties!

I have a practical working knowledge of all recruitment channels which has benefited a range of clients with budgets of up to £42m in sectors ranging from mail order, subscription, travel, charity, and finance. I am also an active member of the DMA and an industry speaker.

With a strong track record of growing client customer bases, my key skill sets are the application of data including database models and volumetrics and planning integrated campaign strategies across brand and direct. I also pride myself on being a disciplined negotiator - whilst at BCA I achieved the lowest press discount in the UK advertiser pool – increasing this discount over a record 19 successive audits.
